14 Tested, 14 Passed: BOTT Welding Students Are Ready for Opportunity
Updated: Aug 28
The latest BOTT Foundation welding class has officially completed its training, and we are proud to share the results: fourteen students were tested by the union, and all fourteen passed.

Four additional students have also completed their training and are waiting for the union to confirm their testing date.
This milestone represents months of hands-on instruction, discipline, practice, and commitment. Our students did the work, developed valuable welding skills, and proved that they are ready for the opportunities ahead.
The Class Is Complete. The Results Are In.
Every student entered the BOTT Foundation program with a goal: to learn a skilled trade that could lead to greater career stability and a stronger future.
Passing the union test is an important step toward that goal. It gives our students the opportunity to move beyond the classroom and pursue real careers within the welding industry and skilled trades.
Their success also reinforces why BOTT Foundation exists. When people are given access to proper training, instruction, and professional opportunities, they can change the direction of their lives, support their families, and contribute to their communities.

Next Up: Graduation
Our students worked hard to reach this point, and now it is time to recognize their accomplishments.
Graduation will celebrate the students who completed the program, passed their testing, and remained committed throughout the training process. It will also mark the beginning of their next chapter as they prepare to enter the workforce and pursue new career opportunities.
Fourteen students were tested. Fourteen students passed. Now, we are getting ready to celebrate.

Help Us Continue the Work
The success of this class shows what is possible, but we need the support of our community to continue.
Donations help BOTT Foundation keep its welding facility open, provide training to future students, maintain the equipment and materials needed for instruction, and connect more people with meaningful career opportunities.
You can help by becoming a monthly contributor or making a one-time donation in any amount. Every contribution helps us continue creating pathways into the skilled trades.
Visit the BOTT Foundation Facility
Prospective students, supporters, employers, unions, and community partners are invited to see our welding facility and training program firsthand.
A facility visit is an opportunity to meet our team, learn more about the program, and see how BOTT Foundation is preparing students for careers in welding and the skilled trades.
We are proud of every student who completed this journey, and we are grateful to everyone who continues to believe in our work.
Please share this story with your network and help us create more opportunities for the next group of future welders.
